Which web hosting plan is right for you?

Every plan runs on the same platform and includes the same feature set: a free dedicated IP, free SSL, LiteSpeed with LSCache, cPanel and daily offsite backups. They differ only in website count, SSD storage and CloudLinux resource ceilings, so choose by how many sites you run and how much traffic you expect.

Prices update with the selected term. The full term total is charged at checkout and renewal pricing is shown on every card. Unmetered traffic is subject to fair use under our Resource Abuse Policy.

Quit overpaying for the basics

What do you get free with every web hosting plan?

A dedicated IP address and private nameservers are features most competitors charge $2–5/month extra for. Here they are part of the base plan, along with SSL, website migration, daily offsite backups and malware scanning.

Dedicated IP address

An account-level IP that is not used by unrelated customer accounts, which reduces shared-IP reputation exposure. It is not a separate outbound email IP.

Private nameservers

Serve DNS on your own brand rather than ours, which looks more professional to clients and lets you customize records. See how nameservers are updated.

SSL certificate

HTTPS on every domain and subdomain in the account, issued and renewed automatically.

Daily offsite backups

Daily and weekly restore points held outside the server, so a bad deploy or a compromised file set can be rolled back. Restore guide.

Malware scanning

Account-level scanning that flags known malicious files before they spread across the sites you host.

99.9% uptime guaranteeAn SLA-backed availability commitment, so the site stays reachable around the clock.

Developer-ready access

The tools needed to deploy and maintain a site

SSH, Git, WP-CLI, cron jobs, .htaccess, a DNS Zone Editor and full PHP configuration control through cPanel: a practical shared environment for managing files, databases, PHP versions and scheduled work without waiting on a support ticket.

SSH access

Command-line access for Git, Composer, npm and WP-CLI, jailed to your own account. Key-based login; root access is not available on shared hosting.

MySQL 8.x databases

Unlimited databases with phpMyAdmin on every plan.

Git version control

Host and deploy version-controlled projects. Git in cPanel.

.htaccess and DNS control

Rewrite rules, custom error pages, hotlink protection, IP Deny Manager and a full DNS zone editor. .htaccess rules worth knowing.

Performance and isolation

How does Ahosting maximize speed and security?

Two things decide how a shared account behaves: how fast requests are served, and how well your account is separated from everyone else's. LiteSpeed with LSCache runs on all shared plans and returned a faster time to first byte than a comparable Apache configuration in our published test, while CloudLinux keeps each account inside its own resource ceilings.

Delivery

LiteSpeed Web Server and LSCache

  • Event-driven request handling instead of a per-request process model.
  • LSCache serves eligible pages from cache and skips the PHP round trip.
  • Measured against Apache in our own disclosed test, with methodology and limitations published.

Read the Apache vs LiteSpeed study →

Account boundaries

CloudLinux, LVE and CageFS

  • LVE gives each account its own CPU, memory, process and I/O ceilings, so a neighbour's traffic spike does not become your slowdown.
  • CageFS enforces user-level isolation in the file system and hides other accounts entirely.
  • That isolation also mitigates privilege escalation and information disclosure between accounts.

What we measured, including where it made no difference

Static files No difference

Serving a static file cost under a millisecond of server time on both an Apache and a LiteSpeed stack. If your site is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the web server is not what decides how fast it feels.

Connection setup 9.4 vs 15.8 ms

Opening a new HTTPS connection was faster on LiteSpeed, with identical TLS 1.3 settings on both sides. A visitor pays this once per connection, not on every request.

PHP applications It depends

Raw PHP execution tracked the hardware, not the web server. What actually moved the number was opcode caching, so any fair comparison has to hold that constant.

Measured 28 August 2026 on two Ahosting lab accounts under equal CloudLinux limits, PHP 8.2.33 on both, median of 11 to 30 observations per route. The two nodes are not hardware-identical, so these figures describe the tested environments rather than the web servers in isolation. Our fuller WooCommerce measurement, including a correction we published against our own earlier result, is here: Apache vs LiteSpeed for WooCommerce.

Getting your site here

How easy is CMS setup and website migration?

A new CMS install takes seconds through the Softaculous one-click installer. Moving an existing site is handled free by our team rather than left to you, and the cutover is planned so the site stays reachable throughout.

1. Install or hand over

Deploy 400+ applications instantly with Softaculous, or send us access to the current host and let the team take it from there. Softaculous guide.

2. Move and verify

cPanel-to-cPanel transfers are handled with no data loss. Files, databases, email and DNS records are checked before anything is switched.

Free website migration is included with every plan. Scope and timing depend on the source platform, site size and access provided. Request a free migration →

Use the right product lane

When should you choose something else?

Web Hosting is the flexible shared option, and it stays the right one while normal traffic fits within the published CloudLinux ceilings. Move up when monitoring shows sustained CPU, memory, process or I/O pressure, or when the application needs root access and custom services.

WordPress Hosting

You run WordPress only and want staging, update controls and WordPress-aware migration tooling.

Web hosting is the service that makes your website reachable on the internet. The provider stores your site files, code, images and databases on a server, and when someone types your domain into a browser, that server delivers the content to them.

Hosting is the location where your website files live. The domain name, for example yourcompany.com, is the address people use to find that location. You need both for a working website, and they can be bought from different companies as long as the domain points at the hosting nameservers. See how to update nameservers.

They differ in how resources are allocated and how much control you get.
  • Shared hosting puts many accounts on one server, each inside its own CloudLinux resource ceiling. It is the most affordable option and fits personal sites, portfolios and small business sites.
  • VPS hosting partitions a physical server into private virtual servers. Your resources are isolated and guaranteed, and you get root access. It suits growing sites and custom software.
  • Dedicated hosting gives you an entire physical server. It is the most powerful and most expensive option, for high-traffic sites and workloads with strict isolation requirements.

Any PHP-based CMS or framework: Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop, OpenCart, Magento, Laravel, CodeIgniter and of course WordPress, plus static HTML sites and your own custom PHP applications. You can install 400+ applications in one click through Softaculous, or deploy your own code over SSH. ASP, .NET and JSP are not supported.

Yes. Every web hosting plan includes SSH access, jailed to your own account under CageFS. Authentication is by key: add yours from cPanel under SSH Access, or use cPanel Terminal in your browser if you would rather not set one up. Git, Composer, npm and WP-CLI are available. Root access and port forwarding are not available on shared hosting; those need a VPS.

Yes. Each web hosting plan includes an account-level dedicated IP that is not used by unrelated hosting accounts, which reduces shared-IP reputation exposure. It is not a separate outbound email IP.

The infrastructure is identical: same LiteSpeed platform, same free dedicated IP, same starting price. WordPress Hosting adds a staging environment, automatic WordPress updates and a WordPress migration tool. If you run WordPress exclusively, choose WordPress Hosting; if you run Joomla, Drupal, Laravel or custom PHP, choose Web Hosting. See the full comparison table.

Yes, free website migration is included with every plan. cPanel-to-cPanel transfers are the most straightforward, but other sources are handled too. Scope and timing depend on the source platform, site size and the access you can provide. Request a migration.

Work through five questions:
  • Site count and type: a single company site, a portfolio of ten, or something transactional?
  • Resources: estimate storage and expected traffic, and leave room to grow.
  • Features: confirm SSL, backups and a control panel you can actually use are included.
  • Support: check that help is available 24/7 through more than one channel.
  • Scalability: check the upgrade path before you need it, not after.
All three of our plans include the same feature set, so in practice you are choosing between website count, storage and resource ceilings.

cPanel is the control panel for your account. It lets you manage domains, email accounts, databases, SSL, backups, cron jobs and PHP settings from one interface, without needing server administration knowledge. See how to configure PHP settings.

Yes. Backups are taken daily and held offsite, so if something goes wrong you can restore to an earlier state and limit downtime and data loss. See how to back up and restore.

Move up when monitoring shows sustained CPU, memory, process or I/O pressure against the account ceilings, or when the application needs root access, custom services or software the shared platform does not offer. Check your resource usage first.

The price on each card is a monthly equivalent for the term you selected. The full term total is charged at checkout, and the renewal price is shown on the same card. Every plan is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, so review the cart summary before payment and cancel within 30 days if it is not a fit.
